A new month brings with it a new list of things to read, do, watch and listen to – sure to make your April your best one yet!

The fifth studio album from the British songstress, Higher Than Heaven, is a collection of upbeat and musically expansive tracks. Goulding brings an energy and exuberance from the opening notes and doesn’t let go for 11 tracks. According to Ellie, the album was written in response to the COVID pandemic, "There was definitely a darkness about [the past two years] that was palpable in the studio, with everyone having gone through it differently. I think for that reason, nobody wanted to sit and agonise over some relationship or some drama. So that’s how this album came together.”

Calling all bookworms! Taking place at Olympia London in West Kensington, the mammoth book fair that is The London Book Fair is the place to be for writers, publishers and readers. What originally starting out as a publishing industry event is now a massive three-day book-filled extravaganza attended by thousands of people that share a love of books, the craft of writing, and getting lost in a story! There’ll be talks, seminars and conferences covering everything from Children’s literature to the business of books.
