Freya Killin Q&A: The Autumn Edit

We’ve officially launched the Katie Loxton x Freya Killin Autumn Edit! To celebrate, we thought it only right we sat down with the content creator and ultimate style muse, Freya, to get you the skinny on her second edit and find out her style tips of the season!

What made you want to do a second edit with Katie Loxton?

When you get the chance to work alongside a brand that you love and use it makes the decision very easy! I honestly use my Katie Loxton bags so much and was beyond excited and honoured to be asked to create my second edit based around my favourite time of year…AUTUMN! The new colours and styles for this season are so me, and to be able to work alongside the loveliest team at Katie Loxton to create the perfect autumn accessories is a dream come true!

What’s your favourite style from your edit? How would you style it?

We all know my black Weekend Bag comes absolutely everywhere with me. I love how chic yet practical it is, but the new olive and grey Weekend Bags in my Autumn Edit may possibly be my new faves! I also love the Quinn Crossbody Bag for everyday - it looks super cool styled with an all-black look, chunky boots and the Roma Sunglasses.

What are your travel essentials?

Well, I feel like you guys know my answer to this...my Weekend Bag is the best travel buddy around! Whether I’m getting on a fight or going on a staycation my weekend bag is by my side. It fits all the essentials and the fact it comes in lots of different colours means I can match it to my travel outfit every time!

What are your style rules for Autumn?

We have no fashion rules over here but something I always do is plan my outfits every season around a capsule wardrobe. In autumn winter a few of my staple pieces are leather leggings, brown duster coat, chunky black boots, white shirt, oversized black blazer, and then some great timeless accessories like the Quinn Crossbody Bag and the Roma Sunglasses from my Autumn Edit.

What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

EVERYTHING! I guess my number one favourite thing is the fashion but it’s also my favourite kind of weather! Not too hot, not too cold, the leaves are just starting to fall and turn gorgeous amber colours on the trees, you can start to layer with your outfits and sip on pumpkin spiced lattes...ahhh, I’m excited just thinking about it!

What styles from your edit will you be gifting for Christmas? And to who?

At this point every family member officially owns a Weekend Bag and most of my best friends have one too! My Mum has a cream one from my last edit but she’s already mentioned how much she loves the olive one, so that’s her sorted for Christmas (Mum, I hope you aren’t reading this haha!) I’ll also be getting her the Quinn Crossbody Bag to match.
