The Paris City Guide 2022

Nothing says ‘Valentine’s Day’ like Paris! With so much to see, eat and do, our carefully curated Paris City Guide does all the hard work for you…

“To know Paris is to know a great deal.” - Henry Miller

Whether you’re traveling solo after binging both seasons of ‘Emily In Paris’, having a getaway with your besties, or looking for a romantic trip with your significant other, Paris is THE place to be! The capital of love has so many charming places to explore, so we thought we would do all the hard work for you. Here are a handful of the chicest spots you need hit when you’re there…

Long weekend or week-long jaunt, here’s the Katie Loxton styles you’ll need to nail Parisian chic!

Hôtel du Rond Point des Champs-Élysées

Based a mere five minutes from Paris’ much-loved Champs-Élysées, this elegantly restored hotel really is in the middle of everything! Aesthetically, the hotel is utterly breathtaking. With a strong Art Deco influence - seen through the marble accents, soft velvet upholstery and interior design details - there are so many chic corners to capture those all important Instagram-worthy shots! The pièce de résistance? The basement Hammam! After a long day of sightseeing, you can head back to the hotel and relax in the pool or go for a steam!

Marché aux Puces de Vanves

Come rain or shine, and whatever time of year, you will find this classic outdoor flea market open! Endless rows of tables boasting everything from 18th-century furniture to vintage jewellery and cameras - there are treasures to be found by those who are willing to rummage!

Parc de Bagatelle

Situated in the Bois de Boulogne, Parc de Bagatelle is one of four botanical gardens that you can find in Paris. Created by architect François-Joseph Bélanger and landscape gardener Thomas Blaikie on the request of Count of Artois in 1775, they built a small chateau with an English garden which still remains one of the most beautiful and romantic spots in Paris! We recommend wandering through the rose garden or relaxing by the nymph pond on a sunny day.

Café de Flore

If you’re looking for a slice of Paris history, the classic Parisian Art Deco café on the corner of Boulevard Saint-Germain has played host to everyone from Sartre to Picasso. Not only does it have an effortlessly cool vibe with its bottle green exterior, it’s also the perfect spot for people watching while sipping a coffee - try and nab a table on the outdoor patio when the weather is nice!

Pink Mamma

The little sister to the ever-popular Ober Mamma, Pink Mamma may not be of French cuisine, but boy is it chic! The Italian menu of home-made pasta and mouth-watering pizza (we suggest the ‘Hot Me Baby One More Time’) is paired with extremely Instagrammable interiors. Climb the four flights of stairs to get to the stunning dining room that is decorated with plants, haphazardly placed furniture and a mismatch of clashing prints - it’s worth the aching legs, we promise!

Cravan

Say hello to the cutest little wine bar, perfect for a romantic cocktail (or five!). Cravan sits in the 16th arrondissement, and is a jumble of round tables, rattan chairs, zany tiles and mirrors. They pride themselves on their cocktail and liquor selection, from Trocadero to Picon, to Curaçao, there are many tipples to try - all served in the most gorgeous glassware. Couldn’t get an evening table? Cravan is also open in the morning for a coffee and a read of the morning newspaper, so there’s no reason not to squeeze this stop-off in!
