The Hitlist: December

Here’s our round-up of everything you need to do, read, watch and listen to this December.

Say hello to the new month (we can’t quite believe Christmas is just around the corner!) with our December Hitlist! We’ve found the best of what to watch, read, listen to and do, so you can make the last month of 2022 your best one yet!

The X-Factor alumni is back after four years out with his new album, and supporting UK tour, Marry Me. Murs jumped into this album, committing to writing and recording it solely with David Stewart and Jessica Agombar, who between them have had roaring success writing for BTS. One album, three writers and no features - something he’s never done before. The musician who had four Number One singles and four Number One albums in a near-back-to-back run after bursting onto the scene with his double-platinum self-titled debut in 2010, is well and truly back.

You’ve watched every Christmas film on Netflix, now it’s time to enjoy season three of the extremely fashionable (and bingable!) Emily In Paris! In the much-anticipated third season, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life. Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie — at work and in her romantic life — and what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.

Prepare yourself for the new year by reading something that will inspire a prosperous 2023! In Girls Just Want To Have Funds, the trio of founders behind the global movement Female Invest bring you an empowering five-step guide with a straight-talking message: you don't have to be an expert or a millionaire to make money. Simply equip yourself with the easy-to-follow golden rules and tools of three finance gurus to find your confidence and open a whole new world of opportunities.

This Christmas, the Prince Charles Cinema festive programme is filled with the usual suspects, but in typical Prince Charles style there are some curveballs in there, too. Check out ‘Edward Scissor Hands’, and ‘Eyes Wide Shut’. The festive season also means the return of the cinema’s famous ‘Muppet Christmas Carol’ singalongs, pyjama parties and movie marathons (think you can manage all three extended versions of Peter Jackson’s ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy?)
