Introducing the SS24 Collection with Katie Loxton

We caught up with our Creative Director and Co-founder, Katie Loxton, to get the lowdown on our new Spring Summer Collection!

WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE SS24 COLLECTION?

This season, it’s been really exciting to see the trend-led colour palettes coming through from the runways and seeing that our customers are looking for those fun, colourful styles again! This season’s colour palette has bold additions, with Lime and Pink taking centre stage - both very inspiring and Spring-like. We’ve really pushed this collection to be more functional and practical, and work harder for our customer, while still being bright and uplifting. 

DESCRIBE THE NEW SEASON COLLECTION IN 3 WORDS

Uplifting, Luxury, Versatile

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PIECE FROM THE NEW SEASON COLLECTION?

This is really hard to answer - I have a few! I absolutely love our new Fold-Out Garment Weekend Bag, it’s a really special piece and it’s great to have something in our Weekend Bag Collection that is wholly functional. I think the new Lily Crossbody is really exciting too, we’ve got amazing new Belt Bags launching too, and Marni with its canvas strap - I really can’t pick one! 

ARE THERE ANY NEW SEASON DESIGN DETAILS YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT?

We’ve made some really conscious choices when it comes to sustainability this season. A lot more of our sunglasses are developed with sustainable plastics and we’ve made huge changes with our packaging to ensure it’s completely recyclable. The linings on a lot of our new bags are also made from recycled fabrics - it really was a conscious (and important!)  decision this season to improve our offering and make it more sustainable. I also love the new Canvas Bag Straps, they just feel so elevated - completely wearable but still so playful. 

WHAT KATIE LOXTON STYLES WILL YOU BE GIFTING (AND KEEPING!) FROM THE NEW SEASON COLLECTION?

One of the key pieces I want to gift is our new Fold-Out Wash Bag - it is just such a handy piece, it’s so versatile and useful. It feels really luxurious and special, making it a good easy gift, as it also matches back to our Weekend Bags which is fun! I love our new Large Harley Sling Bag too! 

THERE’S SO MANY EVENTS COMING UP, WHAT KATIE LOXTON STYLES WILL YOU BE WEARING?

I think that it’s really fun to play with colour this season, so I’ll be pushing myself to wear our bright lime-coloured pieces! I still love our Mini Orla Bag too - so cute for events.
